So I'm beginning a new relationship and it happens to be that it's a relationship with a couple. I've been staying with them for the past couple days and it's nothing physical yet but were still in the "getting to know you" phase. Both individuals in the existing couple are pretty good at communication. I'm a little weirded out because the couple is an opposite sex couple and the man in the relationship is very charming and open. I haven't been with many men but I have to confess I'm intrigued by him. The two of them (I'll refer to them as M for the guy and C for the girl) are not very physically intimate with one another. Although they both enjoy a significant level of emotional intimacy and they are firmly economically entwined. There is an interesting wrinkle to the story that has to do with reproductive resources between the two of them. You see C is infertile and the both of them would really like to have children someday. So there is the idea (just an idea) that they are very open to bringing in a third party at some point to have a child. I'm not too excited about being a surrogate mommy but there seems to be a nice idea that whomever capitalizes on the opportunity could find herself and any children well taken care of as they are both professionals and somewhat well off financially.
To me, it sounds like it could be simply fun to be with them both as well. They like to go camping and they often cook with friends. There was no pressure communicated by either of them to participate in a procreative venture and I wouldn't mind shagging either of them at this point. You guys know how complex this stuff gets so I thought I would run this by everyone in hopes for some objective feedback. What do you think?
